Health of Veterans’ Research Team

The HVRT is a new research evaluation group resulting from the collaboration between the Medical Advisory Committee and King Edward VII’s Hospital. We compile objective evidence to produce reports relating to veterans’ health.

Medical Advisory Committee

The MAC is an independent group of medical and other advisors providing impartial guidance on current and potentially emerging issues affecting the health of veterans, underpinned by the evidence gathered by the HVRT.

King Edward VII’s Hospital

King Edward VII’s Hospital in London, in partnership with Supporting Wounded Veterans, has instituted a programme for assessing and treating veterans with chronic pain. The Hospital also offers treatment for other veterans on a means tested basis.
